What a day it turned out to be. The morning started out just fine. It was a little cold but nothing really to bad. Then around 11am or so it started snowing. It really didn't stick around to much but you almost never see snow at the end of March.

The horse racing season is really getting underway now. there's prep races almost every week. Emerald Downs opens April 18Th. This will be my 5Th year going on opening day. I'm truly looking forward to the day. I wish i was a better handicapper. But I'm always learning and having a great time at the track.
Now to some really good news. The Thunderbirds are on a roll. After having been down 2 games to 0 in the playoffs they have come back to win 3 games in a row. They have been playing a great game on the ice. They still need one more win to take the series. Lets go Birds.
